Stadthalle

On the nearly 3km-long north-south axis connecting the city centre with the Stadium Graz-Liebenau, a huge roof juts far out into public area. It is part of Stadthalle, a building of superlatives.
A roof spanning 150 metres by 70 is resting on only four pillars. The hall proper holds up to 11,000 people. Stadthalle is the modern urban counterpart to the historic town centre around Hauptplatz.
