Palais Saurau


Any child in Graz knows him – the Turk with his dagger, looking down from an opening just below the cornice of Palais Saurau onto the passers-by year in, year out. It's just a pity that the Turk distracts people from the beautiful house.
From the generosity of the four-wing building, the Renaissance portal with stone coats of arms and the gorgeous Baroque fanlight, from the spacious courtyard slightly rising towards Schlossberg.
